Mahsa Amini was detained in Tehran by the “morality police” on September 13, on the grounds that she did not cover herself in accordance with the hijab rules in Iran.
In the footage broadcast by Iranian state television, it is seen that 22-year-old Mahsa Amini fell ill and collapsed in the detention center.

The young woman, who was taken to the hospital from the detention center by ambulance, fell into a coma.
It was announced that Amini, who was in a coma for 3 days, passed away on September 16.
Iranian security forces claim that Mahsa Amini died after a heart attack.
However, her family denies this claim, saying that their daughter does not have any health problems.
Examining the image of the young woman taken while she was in a coma in the hospital, experts say that blood came from her ears, indicating blows to the head.
The allegations that Amini died as a result of torture by the morality police caused great indignation in Iran.
Protests were held in the capital Tehran.
Iran’s Interior Ministry announced that an investigation will be launched into the incident.
The Iranian Center for Human Rights pointed out that the oppression of young women in the country is at a high level.
The “obligation of women to wear a headscarf”, which came into force after the Islamic revolution in Iran, has been criticized by many Iranian women in recent years.
Iranian women are often confronted with the morality police on the streets, having arguments and sometimes being beaten.
