Kars is the Second Province with the Most Cancer – Local

Cancer is one of the most common fatal diseases in our country as well as in the world. However, deaths due to cancer are more common in some provinces of Turkey.

When the deaths due to benign and malignant tumors were examined by province, the province with the highest death rate due to benign and malignant tumors was Ağrı, while the second province with the highest death rate due to cancer was Kars with 18.8%.

According to the statement made by TUIK; Cancer-related deaths are seen at higher rates in provinces such as Kars, Iğdır and Ağrı. Here is Turkey’s cancer map…
