In Muğla’s Marmaris district, Ali İhsan Kaya (38) stabbed his girlfriend İlknur Çetin (35) to death, with whom he had an argument on the street. The incident took place around 09:00 in İçmeler District of Marmaris. An argument broke out on the street between Ali İhsan Kaya and his girlfriend İlknur Çetin, allegedly due to jealousy.
HE CONFESSED IN HIS FIRST STATEMENT
During the argument, Ali İhsan Kaya stabbed Çetin, a hotel staff member, with the knife next to him. Upon check-up by paramedics, it was determined that Çetin had died. The police, who examined the surrounding security camera records, determined that the suspect was Ali İhsan Kaya. Ali İhsan Kaya was taken into custody. It was reported that Kaya, who confessed in his statement to the police that he committed the murder out of jealousy, would be referred to the courthouse.
