The person who published house advertisements for rent and defrauded citizens in many cities under the name of deposit fees was caught by the police in Kırklareli.

Fraud Bureau teams of Kırklareli Public Order Branch Directorate of Kırklareli Police Department caught the person who rented a house that was not available online and took a deposit from citizens to defraud them.

The teams started working on qualified fraud issues in line with the statement taken from the victim.

The victim stated that he saw an advertisement for a house for rent on the e-commerce website for online buying, selling and renting, and that he made a deposit through the account to rent the house; In the studies carried out, it was determined that the person defrauded 3 victims in the center of Kırklareli and caused losses of 52 thousand TL in total.

It was determined that the person in question also published rental house advertisements on the e-commerce site and defrauded citizens under the name of deposit fees in a total of 9 qualified fraud cases, 3 in Antalya, 3 in Çanakkale and 3 in Edirne.

While the teams tracked down the suspect in Kırklareli and detained him, it was determined that the person was wanted for 3 separate crimes such as forgery of official documents, abuse of trust due to service, and fraud.

In addition, the person, who was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for 1 crime, was taken into custody while he was wanted for 4 separate crimes in total.

The person was arrested by the court in the case carried out within the scope of the crime of qualified fraud and was delivered to Kırklareli Closed Prison.
