According to the statement made by the Governor’s Office, Governor Makas visited the road application point and base points in the district with Kemah District Governor Ümit Gürsançtı, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Hakan Dedebağı and Provincial Police Chief Kenan Kurt.
Makas, who visited the positions in the mountains at an altitude of 1600 in the district and met with the security forces there for a while, received information from Mehmetçik about the vehicles they used and their activities in the region.

Pointing out that successful operations were carried out by the security forces outside and inside the border in order to ensure the peace and security of the citizens, Makas said, “For the integrity of our country and the safety of our nation, you are always on your feet 24 hours a day, without blinking, snow or winter, rain or mud. I wish success and convenience to our village guards. May God give you strength,” he said.
Governor Makas also chatted with the citizens he met during his visits.
