Mahzen-32 operations in 7 provinces including Trabzon! Criminal organization collapsed

Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that the criminal organization led by Hakkı Saral, the brother of Ümit Saral, who is in prison, was collapsed with the “Mahzen-32” operations carried out in 7 provinces based in Bursa.

According to the information shared by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, under the coordination of Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and the General Directorate of Security KOM Presidency; As a result of the work carried out by the KOM Branch Directorate of Bursa Provincial Police Department, “Mahzen-32” operations were organized in Istanbul, Ankara, Trabzon, Sakarya, Yalova and Diyarbakır, centered in Bursa. In the operations carried out, suspects who are members of the organized crime group; They collected large amounts of money from our citizens at gunpoint by carrying out forward vehicle buying and selling activities in Bursa center and İnegöl, they carried out armed attacks against people who did not accept to give money and their workplaces through the hitmen they brought to Bursa from outside the province, they came to Bursa from different provinces and carried out forward payment transactions. They identified the addresses of those who purchased vehicles and beat these people by depriving them of their freedom, they intervened in debt and debt issues that occurred between people due to the purchase and sale of vehicles, they gained unfair advantage by establishing so-called courts, they threatened people with death with a gun, they forcibly seized the workplaces and vehicles of those people, and they confiscated these goods. It was determined that the members of the organization gave the vehicles seized by force of arms and threats to the leader of the organization under the name of gifts, and that they carried out armed attacks against the security forces during their criminal activities.

During the operations, 24 suspects who were members of the organized crime group, including the ringleader, were caught. As a result of the operations, 15 unlicensed guns, many checks and promissory notes, and a large amount of cash were seized.

454 organized crime groups were destroyed in 10 months

Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, in his post providing information about the operations carried out against organized crime organizations, said: “Within a 10-month period; We brought down 454 organized crime groups. We shared these criminal organizations with the public, name by name. We carried out a total of 1,201 operations against organized crime organizations. We caught 8 thousand 260 suspects. Of these; 3 thousand 58 of them were arrested. “A judicial control decision was given for 1,740 of them,” he said.
