Sivas Advanced Alloys Production Center, which was established with the support of the Central Anatolian Development (ORAN) Agency within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Attraction Centers Support Program (CMDP), continues its activities.
According to the statement made by ORAN, with the project of which Sivas Science and Technology University is the beneficiary, a center was created within Sivas İŞGEM, located in Sivas Central 1st OIZ, which includes three different production infrastructures.
The center, which has gas atomization, additive manufacturing and precision casting under vacuum departments, is considered as a concrete example of university-industry cooperation in Sivas.
With the production of high technology products that cannot be mass produced, the center offers opportunities for different sectors, especially the defense industry and the medical sector.
With the establishment of Sivas Advanced Alloys Production Center within the OIZ, it is ensured that companies can easily access the production technology and projects they need, and that researchers can easily share their outputs with the industry.
Speaking about the project, ORAN Secretary General Ahmet Emin Kilci stated that the project, which was realized with 2023 prices and an investment of more than 16 million liras, supports high technology and value-added production in Sivas and is a concrete output of university-industry cooperation.
