Why wasn’t Fatih Erbakan the only one invited to Erdogan’s tea reception? Response came from AKP

Journalist Fatih Atik asked AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler on live broadcast about the new Constitutional process and Re-Welfare Party leader Fatih Erbakan’s exclusion from the tea reception held in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Güler said that both the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, and the AKP will take a tour regarding the new Constitution, and that no changes will be made to the first 4 articles.

Atik wrote in his post: “According to the news from the AK Party, the ‘Party President’, which the opposition has criticized a lot, may be discussed.” Regarding Erbakan’s absence from the tea reception, Güler said, “It did not develop as planned. It was suggested by the Speaker of the Parliament at that moment. It happened because it developed at that moment, and it was not within the framework of a special plan.”
