Netflix Turkey made a huge hike in subscription prices! The lowest package was astonishing

Netflix, the online series and movie watching platform, made the first hike in 2023 subscription fees in Turkey. Netflix Turkey, which made a whopping increase in subscription fees, increased its package prices by around 40 percent.

At the beginning of 2022, Netflix Turkey was charging 26.99 TL for the Basic plan, 40.99 TL for the Standard plan and 54.99 TL for the Special plan.

Later, these prices were increased. Basic plan is 37.99 TL, Standard plan is 57.99 TL, Special plan is 77.99 TL. The company did not stop here, as of September 13, 2022, it had made another significant increase in prices. At that time, the Basic plan could be purchased for 45.99 TL, the Standard plan for 69.99 TL, and the Special plan for a full 93.99 TL.

BASIC PLAN INCREASED 63 LIRA TO 99 CURRENCY

Another increase was made today. Now, it is required to pay 63.99 TL per month for the Basic plan, 97.99 TL per month for the Standard plan, and 130.99 TL per month for the Special plan.

After these prices, access to the service became very difficult.

The first statement from the company about the hike was the standard information message: “New fees will apply to our new members, while this change will be introduced gradually for all of our existing members. If our current members have not made a plan change, we will notify you by sending an email 30 days before the membership fees change.”
