Drug operation in Mardin: 6 detentions

In the operations organized by the gendarmerie in the Kızıltepe and Savur districts of Mardin, drugs were seized and 6 suspects were detained.

Mardin Provincial Gendarmerie Command Smuggling and Organized Branch Directorate teams carried out an operation against 6 suspects who were found to be involved in drug trafficking in Savur and Kızıltepe districts.

During the searches carried out by the Gendarmerie teams, 25 root cannabis, 20 grams of cannabis seeds, 2 drug use apparatus, 1 sensitive balance, 5 grams of cannabis powder and 55 grams of herbal cannabis were seized.

It has been reported that the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Offices started legal proceedings against 6 suspects caught in relation to the incidents.
