ANTALYA, (DHA) – The 2nd Provincial Coordination Board Meeting of 2024 was held in ANTALYA under the chairmanship of Governor Hulusi Şahin. It was announced that 553 projects were worked on as of the end of March and the total cost was 96 billion 695 million TL.
Governor Hulusi Şahin, deputy governors, district governors, mayors, rectors and institution directors attended the Provincial Coordination Board Meeting held at the Provincial Directorate of National Education Meeting Hall. Explaining that 553 projects were worked on in Antalya as of the end of March, Governor Şahin said, “370 of these projects were carried out by general and special budget organizations and 183 were carried out with the means of municipalities. The cost of these projects is 96 billion 695 million TL, and the 2024 appropriations for these projects are 13 billion 88 million TL.” As of the end of March, 32 percent cash realization was achieved by spending 4 billion 127 million. The total cost of 370 projects worked on by general and special budget institutions is 85 billion 981 million TL. As of the end of March, 1 billion 582 million expenditures were made and 21 percent cash realization was achieved. The total cost of 183 projects carried out by our municipalities is 10 billion 714 million TL, and the total amount of appropriations for 2024 is 5 billion 564 million and 2 billion 545 million TL was spent as of the end of March. “This was done and 46 percent cash realization was achieved,” he said.
Governor Şahin stated that the highest cash realization in investments made by general and special budget organizations and municipalities is in the tourism sector with 73 percent, and stated that the transportation sector is in second place.
Stating that 58 out of 553 projects have been completed and put into service, 1 project has been liquidated and 76 projects have started, Governor Şahin said, “54 projects are at the tender stage and 364 projects are still ongoing. As of the end of March, the investment programs of some of our general and special budget institutions have not yet been fully completed.” “Although they are in the investment programs of the institutions, there are also projects whose financial information is not known. After the investment programs of our institutions are finalized, the investment program of our province will be created by entering the data into the Provincial Investment Tracking System,” he said.
Following Governor Hulusi Şahin’s speech, presentations were made about the 2024 investments and activities of the Western Mediterranean Development Agency and the Provincial Health Directorate.
