In the training held at Erzincan Community Health Center Hall, it was noted that helicopter ambulances have 4 personnel: a doctor, an auxiliary medical personnel, a pilot-in-command and a co-pilot in accordance with civil aviation legislation.
The dispatch and management of air ambulance helicopters deployed in provinces determined by the Ministry of Health within their own region is carried out by the 112 Command and Control Center of the province where they are deployed. The out-of-region dispatch and management of ambulance helicopters is carried out by the Ministry’s Air Operations Center.
Stating that Erzincan’s Kemah, Refahiye and İliç districts are within the responsibility area of the Sivas air ambulance team, Captain Pilot Tamer Özbek and Doctor Önder Karaman, one of the Sivas air ambulance team personnel, informed the Erzincan Provincial Ambulance Service Command and Control Center personnel about air operation processes and helicopter ambulance equipment. .
