At the request of the ministry, an access block was imposed on the news about the death of a dog by being hit on the head with a shovel in the Animal Rehabilitation Center of the metropolitan municipality in Konya.
The images of the moment the dog was killed caused an indignation on social media.
Lots of social media users ‘konyadakatliamvar’ reacted to what happened with the label.
After the reactions, Konya Metropolitan Municipality announced that an investigation was launched, and the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that two people had been detained.
Later on, Murat B. and Sefa Ç., who were taken into custody as part of the investigation. They were arrested by the court they were brought to and sent to prison.
