Similar visits between North Korea and Iran, which are presumed to have secret military relations, are extremely rare and often not made public. South Korean news agency Yonhapp wrote that the rare visit from Pyongyang to Tehran took place amid suspicions of military cooperation between Iran and North Korea.
THEY TRAVELED TO IRAN IN 2019
Yun Jong Ho, who is known to have been managing relations with Syria in previous years, visited Moscow, the capital of Russia, with a delegation in early April. Russian news agency TASS, which did not mention the visit to Moscow, reminded that North Korean officials last traveled to Iran five years ago, in 2019. It is known that North Korea provided a significant amount of missiles and weapons to Moscow during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is in its twenty-eighth month today.
