“MEN GOT AWAY FAST”
One resident told The Sun, “I was watching a movie on TV when these cars went out into the street. I think there were at least two of them. A lot of men got out and there was a lot of shouting. Then I saw that one of the cars they were driving was on fire right next to the house. I’m not sure if they used gas, but I think they must have because of the fire. “It started very quickly. The men then got into another car and drove off towards the road. I don’t know the young girl, but someone said she was alone in the house. She must have been quite shaken.” said.
It was stated that immediately after the fire, firefighters came to the scene and extinguished the flames, and McLeish’s car was scrapped.
It was noted that while the police were conducting investigations at the scene, investigations were continuing and the suspects were being sought.
IT HAS BEEN ATTACKED IN THE PAST
In 2020, McLeish’s other car, the Range Rover, was blown up, and the roof of the £500,000 house was also set on fire.
McLeish’s beauty salon in Glasgow’s Dennistoun was also attacked a few weeks later.
Jennifer McLeish’s stepmother Phyllis, who separated from her father Alan McLeish four years ago, sits on the board of Scottish football club Kilmarnock FC.
