A source told The Sun: “The police arrested two people following a report of rape. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and aiding and abetting rape. The other man was arrested on suspicion of rape. Both were released on bail.” said.
Another source who spoke to The Sun said that after the tip-off, the police came to the club where the players were wearing their jerseys and met with one of the two players in a private room in the stadium. A club spokesman also noted that the incident is currently entirely in the hands of the police and that they will not comment on the matter.
