The Kremlin announced that Russia will expand its “buffer zone” in Ukraine if Ukraine purchases long-range ATACM missiles from the USA.
After months of delay, the US Congress approved the comprehensive aid package and gave the green light to send billions of dollars of aid to Ukraine.
Within the scope of the package in question, it is planned to provide 61 billion dollars of aid to Ukraine.
When asked about the possibility of the package including ATACM missiles, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that if longer-range missiles were sent, Russia would have to expand the area it uses as a buffer zone in Ukraine.
