​Due to the construction of the Mersin – Adana – Osmaniye – Gaziantep high standard railway line, the Adana – Mersin Journalists Association presidents made a joint statement regarding the Mersin Tarsus Adana line train services, which were estimated to last 2 years and were completely stopped on April 22 for the safety of the citizens. He called the Metropolitan Mayors to duty.

Çukurova Journalists President Cafer Esendemir and Mersin Association President Rüstem Kaya Tepe made a call to the mayors; “Adana, Tarsus and Mersin are integrated cities, thousands of people used to travel by train. With the removal of train services, citizens may be exposed to various problems, so Adana and Mersin Metropolitan Municipalities should solve this problem with mutual Ring services.”
