Physician and Change Group, which is a candidate for management before the elections to be held in Mersin Medical Chamber in April, continues its field work non-stop.

Finally, to the public, “Why are we a candidate?” The group that gave the briefing appealed to their colleagues, “If you are not there, we are one thing.”

“WE WILL WORK WITH A PHYSICIAN-FOCUSED MANAGEMENT UNDERSTANDING”

In the statement, the purpose of applying for management was explained as follows; “We are together for a new, common, participatory management approach that prioritizes our profession. Our main goal is to regain our colleagues who have lost their sense of belonging to our room and who have become angry. We will work with a physician-focused management approach. We will follow Atatürk’s principles and revolutions in order to protect the indivisible integrity of the Republic of Turkey, to maintain our national sovereignty and independence, to realize social justice and to reach the level of contemporary civilization, based on the principles of the democratic, secular and social state of law guaranteed by the constitution.

We do not agree with the public actions and statements of the TTB-MK President and the chamber administrations that say they are with and behind him under all circumstances. Marginal actions and discourses bring blame to the political power and discriminate against doctors.

“WE DEFEND MEAT, FREE, AVAILABLE AND QUALITATIVE HEALTH SERVICES TO EVERYONE”

As physicians with international ethical and scientific values, we advocate equal, free, accessible and qualified health care for everyone.

Health care is losing its quality day by day due to increased demand and excess workload. We will stand against the performance-based wage regulation, which causes the most mental and physical devastation in the world, and we will fight to ensure that doctors are given the wages they deserve in one item, taking into account their academic titles, at a level that we can live in humanely, and that it is reflected in retirement.

We will fight together with unions and associations against violence in health, and we will continue our struggle until the end for a safe working environment and an effective anti-violence law.

We will work to increase the additional indicator coefficient according to degree, stage and title, starting from 6400.

LEGAL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS

By making an agreement with a law firm of our chamber, we will ensure that our members receive the necessary legal support as soon as possible.

We will establish physician councils as soon as possible and hold regular meetings.

We will work for a local government approach that prioritizes health, within the scope of disasters that concern personal and public health, environmental health problems, and healthy living activities.

We will create a city health platform with all health-related unions, associations and chambers.

The quality of medical education and specialty training is decreasing day by day. While all this is evident, medical faculties with inadequate academic staff are being opened. We will work to put an end to this situation and find solutions for non-accredited medical faculties before it is too late.

We will continue our struggle for primary healthcare services, which are provided in an integrated manner with secondary healthcare institutions, where preventive healthcare services are prioritized, with sufficient and qualified manpower, in Family Health Centers built by the public.

We will fight to ensure that our colleagues working in private health institutions work in safe working conditions without the pressure of turnover, without losing their rights in retirement, and to ensure that the medical chambers are parties to the contracts they make, and thus to obtain the opinion of the medical chamber on matters submitted to the judiciary.

YEL PASSPORT AND LOCAL PROMISE

We will also take initiatives to ensure that our physicians working in private institutions and completing their ten-year term of duty can obtain a green passport.

We will open our restaurant and club as soon as possible.

We will open our chamber’s conference hall to the use of our members’ social events and expert associations.

We have hope and will for Turkey, which is a happy doctor, lives healthily and licks healthily, and we aspire to the management of the Mersin Medical Chamber. For the Mersin Medical Chamber elections, we invite all our colleagues who are not members to become members of our medical chamber, and all our colleagues who are members of the medical chamber to vote in the chamber elections. It was said, “If you are not there, we are a minus.”
