Regulation and Road Expansion Work Started at Yenice Junction

Road expansion work has been initiated by Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality at Yenice Junction on the Şanlıurfa – Akçakale road, which is an important transit route in city traffic.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Services Department, in coordination with the Technical Affairs Department, continues its work on regulation and road expansion at intersections where vehicle circulation is intense throughout the city.

In order to ensure that drivers travel more safely and comfortably, the teams carrying out the revision at the Yenice Junction on the Şanlıurfa-Akçakale road are carrying out meticulous work in the region.

The roundabout was removed to ensure easier traffic flow in the area where there was a roundabout before. With the removal of the circular island, the teams completed the infrastructure work in the region and continue the road widening process.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, which is overhauling the Akabe Akçakale connection road in the direction of Akçakale Şanlıurfa, aims to ensure comfort and road safety in transportation by expanding the Yenice Junction.
