Infrastructure works continue in Ortahisar

Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya stated that their work continues to make the roads and sidewalks in compliance with the standards throughout the district.

In his written statement, Kaya stated that they are trying to produce permanent solutions to the problems by using the resources correctly and appropriately.

Kaya pointed out that they focus on roads that are damaged due to infrastructure works. “Due to the geological structure of our district, we have a very wide road network of approximately 1800 kilometers. This is a very large number. There are deteriorations in our roads due to both climatic conditions and usage. We are trying to find solutions to these problems urgently.” he said.

Kaya emphasized that there are large and small road problems in all 87 neighborhoods in the district and said:

“We know that our citizens have some complaints due to intensive infrastructure works. Especially puzzle works cause both loss of resources and grievances of our people. We want to use the municipal budget entrusted to us by our citizens in the most efficient and appropriate way. We do not have a single penny to waste. It is for show or for our people. “We will not work to distract you. We are seeking to produce long-term, permanent solutions. We will continue our work in this direction.”
