Provincial Employment and Vocational Education Board Meeting Held in Ordu

Provincial Employment and Vocational Education Board Meeting was held in Ordu.

According to the statement made by the Governorship, at the meeting attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan via video conference, Governor Muammer Erol, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Celal Tezcan, Provincial Director of Labor and Employment Agency İsa Kaymak, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Fatih Vargeloğlu, Provincial Trade Director. Şenel Çakır, Industry and Technology Provincial Director Zeki Ardahanlıoğlu and board members were present.

Kaymak, Provincial Director of the Labor and Employment Agency, gave information about the activities carried out in the January-March 2024 period.

Stating that they prefer skill-based job orientation, Kaymak explained that in many workplaces, employees cannot ensure job continuity.

Kaymak also explained the project for disabled and ex-convicts to start a business and stated that the application deadline is June 7.

Kaymak noted that 16 programs and 128 participants were inspected within the scope of the On-the-Job Training Program, and 1 program and 50 participants were inspected within the scope of the Community Benefit Program.

The meeting was completed after decisions were taken on the issues suggested by the executive board.
