MALATYA (İGFA) – Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er, Malatya City Council Deputy Secretary General Hasan Batar, Malatya City Council Children’s Council President Ravzanur Güde and City Council Children’s Council members and their families attended the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day program held at the Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Assembly Hall. .

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er, who came together with the City Council Children’s Council members and their families at the Metropolitan Assembly Hall, said, “First of all, I am very happy to come together on such a meaningful and beautiful day. May God always grant us the ability to live in peace forever in this land that our ancestors left to us after struggling with their blood and lives. Our ancestors gave us this beautiful land as a gift with the struggle they fought in these lands. Our Atatürk gifted our children with a holiday. April 23 National Sovereignty Children’s Day is a holiday for all of us, especially our children’s day. We had a busy day on this meaningful and special day. “We had a series of programs with our children,” he said.

Malatya City Council Children’s Council President Ravzanur Güde said, “We would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor for hosting us here on this meaningful day. “As Malatya City Council Children’s Council, we strive to carry out social, cultural and educational activities for children in Malatya, which is always beautiful for us, even though we were severely damaged in the earthquake,” he said.

City Council Children’s Council President Ravzanur Güde continued his speech as follows: “We are carrying out awareness activities, especially for children living in this city to take an active role in city management and to ask children’s opinions about the works to be done in Malatya. Because we children believe this; As long as we are united and united with our little ones and our elders, we will bring Malatya to a more beautiful place.

In this context, he stated that they initiated the “Speak to the Younger” project in order to meet with the administrators running the city from time to time and put forward our ideas about the city, and that they attach great importance to this work, and said, “Unfortunately, not all children around the world are as lucky as we are.
