The fire, which broke out in a 3-storey building in Ankara’s Akyurt district, where a workplace producing medical supplies was located, was extinguished as a result of an hour’s work by firefighters.
According to the information received, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in the 3-storey factory in Güzelhisar Mahallesi Çankırı Boulevard, where workplaces producing medical supplies and furniture are located.
The fire, which grew with the effect of the wind and the ignition of plastic pieces in the surrounding area, was brought under control with the intervention of fire brigades who arrived at the scene upon notification within an hour, and cooling efforts were started.
12 people affected by smoke during the fire were treated in the ambulance.
