The suspect, who shot his friend in Konya and left him in front of the hospital when he regretted it, was arrested

The incident occurred last Monday. According to the information obtained, Konya Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau teams were sent to Konya City Hospital upon the notice that a person was left with a gunshot wound.

In the investigation carried out here, it was determined that the person who was shot was 36-year-old Ümit Kılınç. Despite all the interventions made here, Kılınç could not be saved and lost his life on Tuesday morning.

Police teams determined that the vehicle used by the driver who left Ümit Kılınç and ran away was a car with plate number 34 TC 4142, after the vehicle control and license plate study carried out through the security camera and the City Security Management System (KGYS) after the incident.

The police started an investigation into the incident and determined that the driver of the vehicle was 29-year-old Osman Y. The suspect was caught and taken into custody while fleeing towards Karadigin District of the central Meram district. The detained suspect was taken to the police station to take his statement.

In his first statement here, it was learned that Osman Y. said that after they drank alcohol together in the vehicle, an argument broke out, and after the argument, Osman Y. shot his friend Ümit Kılınç, who got out of his vehicle, and took him to the hospital to save himself, feeling sorry.

After his procedures at the police station, Osman Y. was arrested and sent to prison by the court where he was referred to.
