Giresun Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate carried out operations against street dealers dealing in drugs between 18-19 April 2024.
As a result of the operations, suspects named KA, EA, GH and SOY were detained.
A total of 192 Ecstasy pills, 1.2 grams of Methamphetamine and a drug use device were seized from the captured suspects. While GH, who was detained on the charge of “Trafficking Drugs”, was released with a judicial control order, SOY was arrested and sent to prison.
Police officials emphasized that they will continue their fight against drug crime organizations in Giresun with determination. It was stated that efforts to prevent drug trafficking through such operations will continue uninterruptedly.
