Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality does not allow vehicles operating illegally and operating pirate services throughout the city without obtaining an authorization certificate. In this context, inspection teams affiliated with the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Public Transportation Branch continue their pirate service and P plate inspection practices at regular intervals in order for citizens to travel safely. In addition, the teams immediately evaluate the notifications and work in coordination with Kocaeli Provincial, District Traffic Police and Gendarmerie teams.
THOUSAND 495 VEHICLES WERE INSPECTED
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality inspection teams, together with Police Traffic and Gendarmerie teams, inspected 1,495 service vehicles in the morning and evening hours. During these inspections, minutes were kept for 69 service vehicles.
INSPECTIONS WILL CONTINUE
19 of the 69 minutes kept within the scope of the audits were sent to the committee. 36 documents are waiting in process. Periodic inspections of the inspection teams of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department regarding working within the framework of regulations, especially pirated transportation, will continue.
