HATAY, (DHA)- A 4-day-old baby with congenital heart disease at the State Hospital in Dörtyol district of HATAY was transferred to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital by ambulance helicopter.

Dr. As a result of echocardiography performed by Zeynep Çağla Mutlu; Neonatal Intensive Care Specialist Dr. was diagnosed with ‘truncus arteriosus’ (a single large artery coming out of the heart). The 4-day-old baby, who was followed by Fatih Karaarslan and healthcare professionals, was sent by ambulance helicopter to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital to be operated on by the Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery team. The baby’s family thanked all the authorities for mobilizing all the resources of the state for their child. (DHA)
