A snake seen in the kitchen of a house in Adana’s Kozan district caused panic.
Family members noticed the snake entering the kitchen of a house in the Cumhuriyet District of Kozan and called 112 in panic and asked for help from the fire brigade. Adana Metropolitan Municipality Kozan Fire Department teams came to the scene upon notice and caught the snake. The snake, approximately 1 meter long, was released back into the wild by the teams.
Firefighters also warned citizens against such incidents, stating that as the weather gets warmer, snakes can often enter houses and gardens, so citizens should carefully check the kitchens and windows of their homes. Authorities also underlined that when a snake is seen, you should call 112 and ask for help from the authorities without panicking.
