Moments of panic in Ankara: Mother and her 2 children narrowly escaped being crushed under a minibus

In Ankara’s Mamak district, Ebru Çardak and her two children, one 10 years old and the other 2 and a half years old, narrowly escaped being crushed under a minibus that was moving backwards while parked. The minibus stopped by hitting pallets and other products in front of the market. The moment of the accident was recorded on the security camera.

The incident took place yesterday around 18:00 in Mamak district Akdere District, Mehmet Ali Altın Street. The minibus parked on the street moved backwards. Ebru Çardak, who was waiting outside with her 2 children while her husband was shopping at the market, experienced great panic when she saw the minibus coming towards them.

While Çardak told her 10-year-old daughter to run away, she also hugged her 2.5-year-old son and ran away. The mother and her children escaped from being crushed under the minibus at the last minute. The minibus stopped by hitting pallets and other products in front of the market. The moment of the accident was recorded on the security camera. In the video, it was seen that the mother and her children escaped at the last minute.

“MANY PEOPLE WERE GOING TO HURT”

Ebru Çardak said that she felt great fear when she saw the minibus coming towards them and said, “The minibus first hits the median. From there, it hits the car next to us. From there, it maneuvers us and comes towards us in this way. I saved my son. I told my daughter to run forward. If my daughter told me to run forward.” If he had run correctly, maybe my son would have been trapped under the minibus. I mean, we were so scared, I couldn’t see my daughter for a moment. We were so scared, we cried together. Even if it wasn’t for that car, I still feel chills. “The minibus was going to enter the market and maybe more people would be hurt. I hope they will be more careful. We filed a complaint and gave our statements to the necessary authorities.”

An investigation has been launched into the accident.
