Students read books on the beach in Bitlis

BITLIS (IHA) – 400 students in Tatvan district of Bitlis walked and read books on the beach.

400 students and 30 teachers of Lake Van Primary School in Tatvan district took a walk on the Tatvan beach. After the walk, which was approximately 1 kilometer long and attended by their parents, the children had pleasant moments sitting on the shore of Lake Van and reading books. The children read a book while overlooking the lake view and then returned to their schools, leaving behind a beautiful event.

Stating that they held a book reading activity on the shore of Lake Van in order to raise awareness, Şahin Ballıkaya, Principal of Lake Van Primary School, said, “We organized our walk on the shore of Lake Van in order to raise awareness with our children. We did this walk with the participation of approximately 400 students, 30 teachers and our parents. We walked accompanied by the flag. At the final of our walk. “We symbolically held a 23-minute book reading activity on the shore of Lake Van in Ankara. Our aim was to raise awareness among our children, have a good time and add a beautiful memory to their education life,” he said. – BITLIS
