Hope-Giving Education Journey for Disadvantaged Students with ERASMUS+

It is carried out by our Giresun Provincial Directorate of National Education. ERASMUS+ School Education Accreditation 2023-TR01-KA121-SCH-000163142 Project activities No. 1 continue without slowing down. In this context, the capital of Hungary in Budapest A course activity was carried out with the aim of “increasing the professional competence and skills of our teachers in the field of education of the disadvantaged so that all students benefit from education and receive education without discrimination.” The course included theoretical explanations as well as practical applications. The activity, which took place between 14-20 April, included participants working in different districts and institutions in our city. our 10 teachers attended.

In his statement on the subject, Giresun Provincial Director of National Education Ertuğrul Tosunoğlu stated that the importance of providing education equally to all individuals and that the projects carried out for this purpose focus on an important need of our education system and contribute to disadvantaged students reaching equal opportunities in education. He also stated that such projects make significant contributions to the professional development of teachers and help them become versatilely equipped. Emphasizing that these efforts have positive effects on the development and motivation of not only teachers but also students, he thanked the R&D Unit and the participants who contributed to the preparation and execution of the accreditation projects and wished them continued success.
