Unlicensed weapons operation by gendarmerie in Amasya

In the unlicensed weapons operation organized by gendarmerie teams in Taşova district of Amasya, 3 unlicensed pistols and 6 hunting rifles were seized. Two suspects were detained during the operation.

According to the information obtained, Amasya Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams searched the residences of the suspects, based on the information that individuals named OK and Y.Ö, living in Taşova district, were selling unlicensed weapons.

3 unlicensed pistols, 6 unlicensed shotguns, 3 pistol magazines, 52 pistol cartridges, 15 shotgun cartridges and 5 grams of herbal marijuana were detected and seized.

It was reported that the two detained suspects were released after their statements were taken.
