The incident took place at night in Bahçeşehir District of the central Seyhan district. Allegedly, after the pitbull dog ran away from home, its owner, Hamza Saçıkirli, went to look for it with his family. The pitbull dog on the street attacked its owner, Saçıkirli, who was trying to catch him, and bit him on the foot. Mother Havva Saçıkirli intervened after her son asked for help in pain.
Havva Saçıkirli and her other son Cengiz Saçıkirli were bitten on their feet by the attack of the dog they were trying to drive away. Upon the family’s calls for help, people around asked for help. Medical teams came to the region and took the mother and her two sons, who were injured as a result of a dog bite, to the hospital by ambulance after the intervention.

The dog caught by the police was handed over to the shelter. Meanwhile, the moments when the dog attacked the family were recorded on a citizen’s mobile phone camera.
On the other hand, during the attack, a citizen tried to neutralize the aggressive dog by shooting at it with a gun in his hand, but moments later emerged when the dog continued the attack.
