The 1st International Western Black Sea Communication Research Symposium, which aims to bring together different disciplines on the basis of communication, was organized by Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, Farabi Campus, Faculty of Theology Building, Assoc. Özölçer stated that communication fulfills many tasks, from providing individuals with a social personality to the transfer of knowledge and culture, from meeting needs to the continuity of social order, and said, “Especially in recent years, social developments in areas such as economy, education, health and technology and experiences that have global effects, communication “On the one hand, the digital transformations experienced in the 21st century require serious changes in communication education, and on the other hand, they require the parties operating in the field of communication to understand the requirements of this transformation in the best possible way and reflect it in their practices,” he said.
