The person who escaped after killing the person he had an argument with in Rize was caught by the gendarmerie.
According to the information received, a verbal argument broke out between CK (21) and Orhan Kork for an unknown reason at around 21.00 in Küçükçayır village of Rize center yesterday.
After the argument, CK shot Kork with a gun he took out of his waist. Kork, who was the target of bullets, died in the hospital where he was taken due to 7 bullets hitting his body. CK, who shot Kork, fled the scene by car with his friend SCK (21).
After the incident was learned, Gendarmerie Patrols, JASAT and Intelligence Teams were assigned to the routes where the suspects were likely to escape and to the places they could go. Border Gates and neighboring provincial security units were given information regarding the capture of the suspects. As a result of the investigation, the escaped vehicle was seen in Tepebaşı village of Güneysu district. Noticing the gendarmerie patrol, the individuals tried to escape by car towards Yüksekköy.
After a 2-kilometer chase, two people got out of the vehicle and tried to escape. The two escaped persons were caught and detained by Gendarmerie patrol personnel. The investigation into the incident continues.
