ANTALYA, (DHA) – MURATPAŞA Municipality is launching a ‘Nature-Based Development Workshop’ so that children can meet ecological life at an early age.

Muratpaşa Municipality, which draws attention with its environmental activities, especially with Turkey’s first and only award-winning recycling project, Environmentally Friendly Neighbor Card, as well as environmental workshops, environmental festival, seabed and hillside cleaning, is now organizing the Nature-Based Development Workshop in cooperation with Antalya Forest School and Therapy Development Institute. It hurts.

Workshop training will be given by Expert Clinical Psychologist Selen Aktürk and her team of experts. For the workshop to be given to the 5-6 age group, Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal said that bringing nature awareness to children at an early age is the first step in protecting the future of the world, where resources are consumed unconsciously. Emphasizing the importance of raising conscious generations, Mayor Uysal stated that they provided practical training on vegetable cultivation by enabling children to meet the soil in the greenhouses they previously established in the municipal nursery gardens, and stated that the children had the opportunity to closely observe ecological life.

Registrations for the Nature-Based Development Workshop, which will be initiated to instill ecological life awareness in the little ones through workshops, have started to be made through Turunç Masa.
