They responded to the so-called genocide allegations from the martyrs’ cemetery at the border: They are slandering Turkey

The so-called genocide lie, which Armenia brings to the world agenda every year on April 24, was reacted by visiting the mausoleum built in memory of the 83 martyrs murdered in 1919 in Iğdır’s Hakmehmet village. Citizens who visited the mausoleum with Turkish and Azerbaijani flags in their hands prayed for their relatives who were murdered by the Armenians.

‘MY FATHER WAS CRYING TO TELL US’

Explaining that her uncles and relatives were martyred in the massacre in the village, Peri Ud said, “My father used to tell the story with tears. Armenian soldiers send a message to the people saying ‘come, let’s talk, let’s reach an agreement’. They gather people, kill them and then throw them into the well. My father was telling that all 7 of my uncles were martyred by the Armenians. When the well was opened, the people came out.” It was determined that all the corpses belonged to children and young people. Armenians are enemies, they are evil, they are immoral, they are treacherous. After gathering people, they killed them and threw them into the well. My father cried and cried to his brothers. Now the Armenians are lying to Turkey. “They are slandering. They did the real massacre,” he said.

Headmen’s Association President Mikail Ud, who stated that his ancestors were massacred in Hakmehmet village, said: “The year is 1919. Armenian gangs gather the unarmed, innocent people of Hakmehmet village at gunpoint one night and bring them to the well in the village square, from which water is taken from 12 meters high. One by one, they dagger them, shoot them with guns, and throw them into the water well. Now They are making a fuss in the world saying ‘Turks committed genocide’. In fact, they do not even have evidence or archives. They built a scenario on a lie and they continue it. It is obvious that there were 83 martyrs in my village. They are even trying to escape from this.” said.

Stating that Armenians are keeping the world busy with the so-called genocide lie, Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship Associations Federation Vice President Serdar Ünsal said:

“Armenians, who have always been hostile to Turks, will add a new one to their so-called lies. The Turkish Nation is a noble nation, it will never commit genocide against anyone. The real genocide was committed by Armenians. The proof of this is this mausoleum in Hakmehmet village. In 1919, Armenian gangs were killed by Dashnak and Hinchak committee members in Gedikli, They brutally murdered hundreds of Muslim Turkish people, including children, elderly and young people, in Hakmehmet and Oba villages. These mass graves exist in many parts of Anatolia. However, not a single Armenian grave has been found. The village of Hakmehmet, which suffered an Armenian massacre, is here as a proof of the massacre. They put them on their roofs and threw them into wells. They committed a massacre in the Eastern Anatolia Region. The grandchildren of the Armenians who committed a massacre here in 1919 committed the same massacre in Khojaly in Azerbaijan. Even the Nazis in Germany did not carry out the cruelty committed by the Armenians. We call on France, Germany and Italy not to believe the lies of the Armenians. Let them come and see this massacre, the real murderers are the Armenians. I wish God’s mercy to our martyrs.”
