The interesting incident took place on Bosnia Herzegovina Boulevard in the central Sarayatik District. According to the information obtained, a neighbor who could not hear from 80-year-old Cevdet Çiftçi, who lives alone in the house on the 4th floor of the 7-storey Çelikler Apartment on the street, informed 112 emergency teams that they could not reach him for 6 days.
Upon notice, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Farmer’s neighbors told the teams that came to the scene that they could not reach the old man.
Later, the teams knocked on the door of Çiftçi’s house for minutes, but received no response. When the farmer did not open the door, firefighters entered from the balcony of his house on the 4th floor with a fire ladder truck. The teams entered the house and found Çiftçi sleeping.
Çiftçi, who was woken up by the teams, said that he fell asleep. The teams returned to normal after Çiftçi said that he did not have any health problems and was fine.
