An armed attack occurred in Rize’s Küçükçayır village in the evening. Allegedly, when 21-year-old CK encountered Orhan Kork, with whom he had previously argued at the wedding, he drew his gun and opened fire on Kork.
The reason for the verbal argument between the two people is not yet clear. As the argument escalated, CK shot Orhan Kork with a gun from his waist. As a result of the incident, Orhan Kork received 7 bullet wounds in his leg, groin and abdominal areas.

112 emergency service and gendarmerie teams quickly arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the injured Orhan Kork at the scene. Then, Kork was taken to the hospital. However, despite all the interventions, Orhan Kork died in the hospital.

Suspect CK Escaped
Suspect CK escaped after the incident and is currently wanted. Gendarmerie teams launched a large-scale investigation to catch CK. The people of the region were invited to support law enforcement forces to capture CK.
