ISTANBUL (AA) – Within the scope of the 104th anniversary celebrations of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, colorful events were organized for children at AA’s Istanbul Office and Headquarters building in Ankara.
Participating in the event at AA Istanbul Office, AA Chairman and General Manager Serdar Karagöz celebrated April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and said that children are the future of Turkey and the hope of the world.
Karagöz also played a short game with the children who attended the event.
By drawing attention to prominent projects such as Togg, Baykar, Kızıl Elma, Milgem, Hançer, Panter, Korhan, Boran, Hisar, Akıncı, Atak, Kaan, Gökbey, Sancar, Songar, Altay and Anka, which are among Turkey’s local and national projects, we asked who these projects are. When Karagöz asked what he was doing, the children said in unison, “We.” he replied.
Chatting with the children, Karagöz emphasized that Turkey’s future is children and congratulated the participants of the event.
Karagöz, who took care of the children in the event area, also chatted with their families.
At the AA General Directorate, Turkey’s first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı met with children and shared his experiences in space.
Children asked Gezeravcı, “Is there life in space?”, “Is there day and night in space?”, “Is there a gas station in space?” He asked interesting questions such as:
Children attending the festival with their parents had a fun time with an entertaining science show, portrait drawing, pantomime, animator, face painting activities and various treats.
At AA Workshop, the choir consisting of agency personnel sang songs for children.
