The 104th Anniversary Celebration Program of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was Held at the Central Indoor Sports Hall of our City.

Our Provincial Director of National Education, Mr. Hacı Ömer Kartal, who made a speech stating the meaning and importance of the day in the program, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem; ”With the excitement of reaching the 104th anniversary of the opening of the CPC Assembly, the day when the sun of the Republic showed its clear face on the horizon of the homeland, we celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with more joy and enthusiasm. The torch of independence lit under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, the founder of our Republic, became a sun illuminating all corners of Anatolia in Ankara on April 23, 1920. This sun receives its light from the effort, determination, determination, unity and solidarity of those who devote their hearts to the homeland with an indescribable passion; It was also the herald of a resurrection that would turn our country’s winter into spring and spring into summer. That spirit of resurrection, love of homeland and nation, love of the flag, passion for independence lifted a nation to its glory. The name of this rearing; It was unity and solidarity, it was the War of Independence, it was the War of Independence, it was national sovereignty. It was the bright future of our Turkey.

The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gifted such a day, which is so important for the Turkish nation, to Turkish children as a holiday. We are also honored that this holiday is the world’s first and only Children’s Day.

On this day, which we celebrate with pride and joy as a nation, we commemorate with mercy and gratitude all the heroes of our War of Independence, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this heavenly homeland, and our veterans who passed away to the afterlife. “I hope this will end in our world where hundreds of children are brutally murdered every day, and I congratulate all our children and the children of the world on Children’s Day and offer my respects,” he said.
