The number of sales in the second-hand online passenger and light commercial vehicle market in Turkey was 187 thousand 229 in March, with a decrease of 1.27 percent compared to the same period last year.
Last month, 397 thousand 73 corporate advertisements were published in online media and 187 thousand 229 of these advertisements were sold.
There was an increase of 2.40 percent in wholesale prices in March and 6.92 percent since the beginning of the year.
Best selling brands in March
The most preferred automotive brand (passenger and light commercial) in the second-hand online market last month was Volkswagen with 23 thousand 311 sales. This brand was followed by Renault with 22 thousand 003 sales and Fiat with 21 thousand 913 sales.
In terms of sales, Ford ranked fourth with 19 thousand 602 and BMW ranked fifth with 10 thousand 584. Opel was in the top 10 with sales of 9 thousand 966, Peugeot with 9 thousand 81, Hyundai with 8 thousand 993, Mercedes-Benz with 8 thousand 846 and Toyota with 7 thousand 239 sales.
75.6 percent of the 187,229 vehicles sold in the second-hand online passenger and light commercial vehicle market last month were vehicles of these 10 brands.

There were 151 thousand 145 sales in the second-hand online passenger car market last month.
Fiat’s Egea model became the most preferred model in March with 8 thousand 270 sales. Here are the best-selling second-hand cars in March:

Last month, 36 thousand 84 light commercial vehicles were sold in the online market. Fiat Doblo ranked first again with 4 thousand 413 sales.
Ford Tourneo Courier ranked second with 4 thousand 247 sales, and Ford Transit ranked third with 3 thousand 946 sales.
In terms of sales, these models were followed by Fiorino with 3 thousand 853, VW Cady with 2 thousand 17, Ford Tourneo Connect with 1991, VW Transporter with 1636, Renault Kangoo with 1403, Citroen Berlingo with 1179 and Peugeot Partner with 1139.
