SUSPICIOUS DEATH | Breaking news: Swedish woman’s secret death in Istanbul!

--

In Istanbul, the incident took place at a famous hotel in Kağıthane at around 18:30 on 17 January. Allegedly, Swedish citizen Yasmine Mejri preferred a 5-star hotel in Turkey for her vacation.

FOUND DEAD IN THE HOTEL PARKING ENTRANCE

According to the news in DHA, after Mejri checked in to the hotel, he told the hotel employee that he wanted to connect to the internet to reach his family. The young woman, who had been waiting in the lobby for a while, then went to her room. Mejri was found dead at the entrance and exit of the hotel parking lot.

THE POSSIBILITY OF SUICIDE IS EVALUATED

The public prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams conducted an investigation in and around the hotel. The woman’s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination. Statements were taken from hotel employees regarding the incident. While the possibility of suicide in the death of the woman is emphasized, the investigation continues on the incident, which is recorded as a ‘suspicious death’ in the police records.

“He SPEAKED TO ME IN ENGLISH, REQUESTED THE WI-FI PASSWORD”

KY, who served as the reception manager, whose statement was asked about the incident, said, “A woman of foreign nationality came in at around 17.45 and demanded the password of our Wi-Fi network, stating that she wanted to use our internet to reach her relatives. The woman spoke to me in English. We normally share the Wi-Fi password with our guests. “I did not see the person again, who went to the lobby area where the sitting areas are located, after receiving the password, due to the busy entrance and exit of the hotel,” he said.

Ö.B, who works in the risk prevention department of the hotel, said, “I saw a woman lying on the floor in the area leading to the goods reception area on the side of the hotel at around 18:30. I saw her on the ground. I did not see the moment of the fall. Then I saw her lying face down on the floor next to the woman. “There was blood on the floor. Afterwards, I called 112, the police teams and an ambulance to the scene, and informed the hotel staff. The medical teams who came to the scene said he was dead,” he said.
