It was revealed that the pilots who landed the Airbus A320 type passenger plane carrying 167 people in a field in Russia were fired.

After a technical malfunction occurred in the Airbus A320 type passenger plane belonging to Ural Airlines, which took off from Sochi, the captain pilot managed to land the plane in a field in the Novosibirsk region.

No one was harmed among the total 167 people on the plane.

Although it was stated that the plane would take off from the field later, this plan did not come true and it was decided to dismantle the plane.

PILOT WAS DISMISSED

It was revealed that the hero of the incident, captain pilot Eduard Semenov, was fired by Ural Airlines and the pilot was working as a taxi driver.

Speaking about the issue, Semenov said; ‘I followed the company’s rules. Now I am left alone with my loan debts for my house and car. I have difficulty supporting my family. “I work as a taxi driver and I have no other choice right now,” he said.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Ural Airlines invited the cockpit crew that landed the plane to the field in recent months to resign, but both pilots refused. It was reported that the company subsequently fired the pilots.
