Claiming that it is possible to earn $1 million in a year, Mike decided to conduct a social experiment to prove it.
Mike, who gave up his luxury house and car and started living on the streets, wanted to show people that he could build an empire with the simple power of hard work. But things didn’t go quite as expected!
HE ESTABLISHED A COFFEE BRAND FROM SCRATCH
Mike, who publishes videos about his days as a homeless person on his YouTube channel, said:I knew a lot of people who lost everything during the pandemic and became really depressed. I even had a friend who lost his $10 million business overnight. I wanted to inspire them” said. The young man, who was hungry and thirsty on the streets for a long time, found a way to earn money after a while and earned his first 300 dollars by selling furniture on the internet. Mike described that process as follows:
“One of the best things to sell is furniture. I sold the furniture, which I advertised free of charge on various sites, at a profit. As an intermediary, I handled all the logistics between the buyer and seller. After 5 days, I earned enough money from this job to buy myself a computer. Two weeks later I found an office and then rented a space. Three months later, I started working as a social media manager and created my own coffee brand from scratch.”
Explaining that he did not earn millions of dollars after 3 months of living on the streets, but managed to earn a good income, Mike said, “I was making phone calls to big tech companies and offering them to manage their social media. In a short time, I reached a level where I could establish a coffee brand. I managed to get to a good level while being homeless three months ago. So everything went in the right direction” he said, adding that people who start their lives from scratch can reach a certain point in a short time.
‘MILLION DOLLAR RETURN STRUGGLE’
However, the famous YouTuber encountered a situation he never expected on the 138th day of the project. Nothing was the same for Mike when he learned that his father had colon cancer. Young man, He recently decided to leave this social experiment, which he set out to prove that anyone can earn 1 million dollars in just 12 months, saying “health and family come first”.
Mike, who promised to establish a new business and grow this business to a value of one million dollars with the project he called “Million Dollar Comeback Challenge”, unfortunately could not achieve what he promised. Mike, who finished the project early as a result of chronic fatigue and various illnesses, said, “As much as it pains me to do this, especially with only two months left, I feel like it’s the right thing to do” he explained.
“I’ve been dealing with a lot of things personally, and there have been some situations lately that have really pushed me over the edge. My personal health has gotten to the point where I really need to start taking care of it. We didn’t share this with you throughout the entire project, but I was under constant medical care.”
HE EARNED 64 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN 10 MONTHS
Admitting that the social experiment was more difficult than he thought, the young man said, “Living on the streets was the hardest experience of my life. Sometimes I couldn’t even find water to drink. However, with my entrepreneurial spirit, I earned money from social media and rented a house in three months. Even though I couldn’t reach my goal of $1 million, I believe I showed the power of perseverance. “I managed to earn 64 thousand dollars during the project, that is, in 10 months.” made the statement.
