The farms around Culiacán in Sinaloa were the scene of grisly crimes. Serrano even stated that the two brothers were each given a knife and made to fight.

Néstor Isidro Pérez Salas, nicknamed El Nini, was the former security chief of Los Chapitos and reportedly kept tigers on his property to feed enemies. Mini Lic described an example where one of the cartel drivers was led to this terrible end after being accused of theft.

The former cartel member said his driver’s hands and genitals were torn apart by tigers. His body was later brutally thrown into the street where his mother lived.

Before El Nini’s arrest last year, Bengal tigers were found during raids on the cartel’s properties.
