Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who attended the international forum titled ‘Green Vision for Azerbaijan’ in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, made a speech and answered questions and touched upon the negotiations for signing a peace agreement with Armenia.

“Armenia prevents the establishment of a road connection with Nakhchivan”
Regarding the route that will connect the western provinces of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan via Armenia, Aliyev said: “This issue is stated in the tripartite declaration signed between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on November 10, 2020. Yes, the term Zangezur Corridor is not included there, but it is written that there is a road connection between the western parts of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan and the security of this road will be provided by Russian troops. 3 “Armenia has been violating this article for more than years. Aliyev also touched upon Armenia’s acquisition of new weapons, “France, India and Greece are arming Armenia against us. They do this openly and even try to prove something to us. We cannot sit back and wait. We have clearly conveyed this attitude to the Armenian government and the parties trying to protect Armenia today.
