Presidential and Congressional elections will be held in the USA on November 5, 2024.
A survey of nationally registered voters by the Marquette Law School shed light on the 2024 Presidential election.
In the survey, 52 percent of the respondents stated that they would support the Republican candidate Trump, while 47 percent preferred Biden.
If Florida Governor DeSantis entered the presidential race against Biden from the Republican party, DeSantis was also ahead of Biden with 48 to 52 percent.
Given the choice of Biden, Trump, and another possible candidate in the poll, 41 percent said they would vote for Trump, 34 percent for Biden, and 19 percent for another candidate.
In the option that excludes Trump from the equation and includes DeSantis, DeSantis 38%, Biden 37%, and the other possible candidate 18%.
In both equations, between 6 and 7 percent of respondents indicated that they would not vote.
In the poll, only the Republican candidates, when asked who the party voters would prefer, Trump received 46 percent, DeSantis 25 percent, while Nikki Haley, the Former United Nations Permanent Representative to the United States, took the third place with 5 percent.
In the same poll conducted in March, the possible 2024 Presidential race between Biden and Trump was equal with 38 percent, while in the race scenario between Biden-DeSantis, Biden was 42 percent and DeSantis 41 percent.
The Marquette Law School’s survey was conducted May 8-18 among 883 registered voters randomly selected at the national level.
