The speech of French President Emmanuel Macron at the UN General Assembly has become the number one agenda of the country. Pointing out that the hall was empty while Macron was speaking, French politicians harshly criticized Macron.
France speaks of Macron’s speech at the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
It did not go unnoticed that the hall was mostly empty when the French leader addressed the UN General Assembly.
French politician François Asselineau made the following statements in his statement on his Twitter account;
‘Macron was horribly humiliated. Three quarters of the countries were absent at the time of his speech.’
Stating that three quarters of the delegations preferred to rest in the cafeteria and listen to Macron, Asselineau claimed that despite all the efforts of the French media, Macron made France smaller in the eyes of the world.
Macron devoted an important part of his speech, which lasted about 30 minutes, to the Russia-Ukraine war.
In his speech at the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), Macron described the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a “return to imperialism”.
REVIEW FROM NYT TO MACRON: IT WAS INSUFFICIENT
The New York (NYT) Times, one of the leading newspapers in the USA, drew attention to President Erdogan’s diplomatic efforts and success in its news about the UN summit, and underlined that Macron had been in contact with Putin for months but could not achieve any success.
Macron has been described as a “speaker of the Western alliance who claims he can play a role in peace”.
